Character Information Name: Walker Graham Stratton Birthdate: March 11, 1973 Age: 34 Location: Seattle Occupation: police captain
Fairytale Character: Libra, the Scales of Justice (Mythology) Abilities: He is always able to see all sides of any argument and has a sort of magical knack for resolving disputes. People tend to become more rational in his presence and able to see other sides of whatever dispute they were in. Link to source: http://www.libra.arollo.com/mythology-history.html
Personality: He's always been a bit of a peacemaker, which makes being a Police Captain either the best or worst job in the world for him. Of course, it was years before he realized it was because of his Tale, his past identity, that he was so driven to make peace between feuding friends and family members, but he's always been that guy who could see all sides of a disagreement and, what's more, he can generally get those involved to see the different sides as well.
He's a charismatic man, charming and reassuring. People can't help feeler calmer in his presence. The way he speaks and acts just tends to help people lower their guard a bit and most people would say they find him easy to talk to.
That's not to say he won't ever lose his temper, though, or that he isn't willing to use violence ever. It's a last resort to him, but he'll do it when he has to, obviously. He wouldn't have made it as far as he has if he wasn't willing to pull a gun when the situation called for it.
He's a little bit cocky, too. This man doesn't lack for confidence, though he doesn't act like an arrogant jerk, either. He has the kind of confidence that most people find charming.
Orientation: Straight, I think.
Appearance: He's a tall and imposing man, this guy, dressing mostly in button down shirts and slacks. He definitely has that classic, old-school detective look about him. His eyes are kind, but old, reflecting a kind of wisdom that surpasses his age and he has a warm smile that tends to put people more at ease.
He has that appearance of being easy to trust, which really comes in handy in his job, too.
He's definitely a handsome man, too. With blue eyes and dark hair and that smile that could make you melt - there's definitely not a shortage of girls swooning over him.

Brief History: He hasn't had an easy life, that's for certain. He was born one of the middle songs in a large family, where there was plenty of love, but not really enough money to go around. This guy always had to work really hard for the things he had in life.
And work, he did. He busted his ass through school, making decent enough grades and doing well enough in sports to earn his way into a good college, where he majored in Criminal Justice. From there, it was on to the Police Academy, where he worked his way up to his current position as Captain of a key precinct in Seattle.
It was somewhere in there that he discovered his identity as Libra. Fights were always breaking out in his unit and it seemed that he was the one everyone ran to, because things just got resolved when he was involved. A little random reading and he realized why - his former self, his very reason for being created, was for justice. This also convinced him that he really had chosen the right career path.
His force drives him crazy at times - a certain pair of partners in particular, but he really, really loves his job.
He's had his share of relationships, too, but nothing that's really moved further and he's still searching for that special someone to share his life with. It's not an active or desperate search, but he's a romantic at heart and a part of him does long for a girl to love and spoil. No matter how poor they were, his parents were always happy and very obviously in love and he wants to have that, too, someday.
Character Journal: justicescales Example Journal Entry: Those two are going to be the death of me. I just know it.
God. I need a drink.
